That spooky time of year is always just round the corner, Halloween with its scary costumes, hollowed out pumpkins and glowsticks from the glowhouse. No sooner have you brushed off the last of the sand from the beach trips and safely packed away the barbecue until next year, you start to see the first signs of the ghoulies and ghosties for sale in the shops.
Halloween is a great time of year for kids, even if they do not fully understand it. Something to look forward to in the seemingly endless period between the summer holidays and Christmas.
Time to dress up for an evening and roam the streets tricking and treating, and trying to extricate as many bars of chocolate and packets of biscuits as they can from their fellow neighbours. (more...)
